TYPE: [Peru. Huánuco: near Pampayacu and Cuchero, on trees]. Crescit copiosa iisdem cum praecedentibus locis, arbores sylvarum sicciorum inprimis colens. Floret Decembre, Dec 1829, Poeppig 1599 (holotype, W; isotype, G; AMES).
